Canada-Bogota
El vuelo estuvo bien, a mi lado habia un futbolista de Quito que tambien vive en Canada pero su acento era Espaniol. Era muy lindo y siempre mirabamos la distancia y a cuanto estabamos de nuestro destino. Al aeropuerto en Canada llegue tarde, apenas lista para bordar, conmigo llevaba mi maletin con mis zapatos, mi bolsa con mis pasteles,cuaderno de dibujo e identificacion, mas mis audifonos que nunca pueden faltar y mi guitarra, mas dos maletas. Me via muy graciosa seguramente.
Mis amigos Constaza, Juan Camilo y Carlos me fueron a recibir al lluvioso aeropuerto y tomamos un taxi a casa de Casa de Constanza. Comimos arroz blanco con atun y papas, muy rico y yo llevaba mucha hambre asi que fue genial.
Hablamos un rato largo y nos pusimos a ver los canales de musica locales, fue magnifico ver los videos musicales del pop vallenato? Muchas chivas y todos al lado del mar buscando a su chica tetona y rubia de ensuenio.
Juan se fue al ratito pero Carlos se quedo a dormir, son las 8:19am ahora, no he dormido nada por la emocion de estar aqui. Carlos esta a mi lado en una camita en el piso durmiendo como un bebe y Constanza esta arriba cosiendo muchas cosas para su proxima feria.
Ya Carlos esta despierto, me pregunta que hago. Me quiero dormir pero no puedo. Los quiero forever.
Constanza acaba de bajar con nuestro desayuno, sandwich de queso con yogurt en bolsita. Delisioso! Me espera un dia de muchos correos y descanso.

I arrived in Bogota, my friends picked me up and we had a great dinner. Today I am going to an amazing party and meet with amazing people, tomorrow I rehearse for the award night.
I have lots of email to write and people to get back to, but I will try to write an entry each day with pictures and hopefully video to document this amazing experience ahead of me.
I love my country, my friends and I am greateful to have the opportunity to show my work next to incredible artists. Words cannot express my happiness.

Sneaky Zine peak.

Where the Wild Things are fort project.

I loved it. We want to make one every weekend. I also made an illustration...I want to make one everyday. Why do we have to grow up? Why do we have to grow up into this boring..uneventful and gray existence?!! Oh yeah, I make art and that is so much fun! yay me!!!

Hello. I am 23 now. It feels good. I love my family. I love you, so much.
School so far is really good. I feel like oportunities are opening for me, there are many things I still want to change in my life, but I am happy to be productive, I am happy to know my close ones are doing well. I want to go back to my country, I want to stay there and sleep under a tree.

Hi! I am back!

Well..after having an amazing time overseas, sharing with my family and being a mom while trying to be a full time artist, I decided to go to school and get my shit together.

I have made lots of art, but no time to update my blog. With this new post I hope to stop that trend and just be more organized about it.
